Make Mine Hay!
Make Mine Hay:

Here’s an important reminder just in time for the yearly Bunny Celery Bray Shuns in the Spring.  This message is sponsored by the Hay Count Sill:

If you are thinking about bringing a pet 2foot into your Burrow this Spring, won’t you please make it a HAY one instead?  Let’s make it a Hoppy Easter for 2foots, too!  With a purchase of a HAY 2foot, you are helping spread the word that 2foots are not disposable pets.

Before you bring a pet 2foot into your Burrow, please consider these facts:
- 2foots are not low-maintenance pets!  They require more work than almost anything!
- 2foots can live a very very long time.
- 2foots require routine V-E-T type care.
- Some 2foots are not cuddly and are just big and clutzy.
-The cute little ones usually come with very little common sense and can even be dangerous!
- Pet 2foots cannot be set “free”.  Despite their size, they don’t have much survival instinct.

In the Spring, many kits convince their parents to bring home a 2foot since the little 2foots can be very cute in their little bonnets this time of year.  But they do not realize all the care and maintenance involved in keeping pet 2foots.  They need plenty of water, food, petting, sleep, and can be very noisy, especially the little ones.  They often have loud habits and will need a lot of training to keep them in line.  Now, it’s possible to do all that, but buns should be aware of this before adopting one!  What happens to the 2foots who are not properly cared for can be very sad.  The lucky ones are caught and given to shelters to re-home.  The unlucky ones end up without Bunnies!

If a bun thinks a real live 2foot might be too much work, they should consider getting a 2foot made of Hay instead.  They’re available now from the Hay Count Sill.  They make wonderful gifts!  They are are toys in the shapes of little 2foots made of Hay!  Order yours today!
